Shamanic Journeying

This class is for people who are new to or returning to shamanic journeying. We each have the inherent capability to personally connect with a divine support system which is available to us at all times. The shamanic journey is one of the ways we can access our spiritual guidance through direct revelation and has been an empowering practice relied upon for 40,000 years. During a shamanic journey, drumming is used to help shift you into a trance state where you can meet your compassionate helping spirits and ask to receive guidance, wisdom and healing. Together, we will learn about our gates of perception and explore a variety of exercises designed to support the strengthening of journey skills while expanding the horizon of possibility. Classes are held at The Center.Sound.Mind.Body in Frederick, MD and Hagerstown Holistic Wellness in Hagerstown, MD.

One-on-One Shamanic Journeying

These one-on-one sessions are tailored to meet you where you are and support where you’re going. Whether you’re seeking guidance, clarity, healing, deeper connection, or simply to explore the spiritual realms, the session is shaped around your unique needs and intentions. We’ll focus on deepening and broadening your journey practice while strengthening your skills. We’ll also discuss ways to integrate your experience moving forward - so your insights don’t just stay in the journey but become a living part of your growth and awareness. Whether you’ve experienced shamanic journeying or are just beginning, this is a space for you to ask questions, receive support and connect more deeply with yourself and your compassionate helping spirits.

Shamanic Trance Dance

Our ancestors danced. They danced in gratitude. They danced in prayer. Within their shamanic cultures they danced ceremonially with the purpose of connecting with their ancestors, spirit guides, power animals and Great Spirit. They danced to receive visions, wisdom, healing, strength, and guidance. This connection is still available to us by going within just as our ancestors did. Today’s dance rituals are still an ancient practice but have evolved to support contemporary times. They are held in sacred space by me as your guide and guardian. This is a dance of empowerment. Participants dance blindfolded to ensure privacy, freedom, and a full experience of going within. We set our intentions for what it is we’re bringing into our lives such as wisdom, healing, change. A brief breathing exercise helps to shift dancers into a trance state while the music supports you in your surrender to the experience. Most of all this is a dance WITHIN yourself. There is space and safety to let go into the freedom of movement, but physical dancing is NOT a requirement.
